Commonly Asked Questions About the CDL Training Program

Why Earn a CDL Class A License?

A truck driver with a CDL Class A license is permitted to drive any combination of vehicles with a gross combination weight rating (GVWR) of 26,001 or more pounds (assuming that the towed vehicle is heavier than 10,000 pounds). This can include tractor-trailers, livestock carriers, and flatbeds.

What Will I Learn During the Course?

Curriculum that adheres FMCSA's requirements for standardized Entry-Level Driver Training (ELDT), such as vehicle inspections, cargo handling, size/weight laws, range manuevers, general maintenance procedeures, safety regulations, accident prevention, and more.
