WEA’s Award-winning Uniquely Abled Academy

WEA’s award-winning Uniquely Abled Academy (UAA)was visited on March 30th by Colorado’s Cherry Creek Innovation Campus (CCIC). Three of their staff members traveled to our college to witness first-hand our Academy’s training program “in-action”. CCIC has decided to create a UAA at their school, replicating our model of training high-functioning autistic individuals as entry level CNC machinist. They want to ensure their new program achieves the same stellar results as ours, in regards to accomplishing nearly 100 percent career placement. CCIC views their first UAA as a prototype for additional academies to train other vocations, such as Cybersecurity and Robotic Programming. WEA has been invited to their first graduation.
